About PALLION ENGINEERING LIMITED
We are a working fabrication yard on the Wear at Pallion, Sunderland — ground that has been building and repairing ships for generations. Our welders and fabricators take on marine metalwork, structural steel and one-off fabrications for customers across the North East.
Boat owners, marine contractors and construction firms send us drawings and deadlines; we cut, weld and deliver. Small enough to answer the phone, equipped enough to take serious tonnage.

How we work

Do you take small welding jobs?
Yes — from a cracked bracket to a full frame. Bring it to the yard or send photos first.
Can you work from our drawings?
That is the usual way. Send drawings as PDF or DXF and we will price the fabrication.
Do you do marine work?
Marine metalwork is a big part of the yard — rails, davits, repair sections and fittings for workboats and pleasure craft.
What materials do you work with?
Mostly mild steel and stainless. Aluminium on smaller work — ask when you send the spec.
